How would you respond to that?

I was with a friend (who's actually very good with women) and was using these random openers that make no sense whatsoever, but was just showing us how to open sets. I'd say 95% of his sets are successful and he comes away with a number, doing the weirdest shit.

But I guess rejection is inevitable no matter how good you are. So how would you respond to a chick saying "You're, uhh, kinda weird and creeping me out"? Is it just a bitch-shield? Should you just leave? Or is there a way to possibly turn that around and win her over?

i;d blow it off then send an IOD... say "hey that's great" then turn my back to her and try to shut her out of the group by going into a routine for the rest of the set. The social frame is dominated by you, anyone who breaks it is kicked out of your reality, by shutting her out of the set she will then accept your frame because she wants back in.

shut her out, but playfully. Maybe tell her "well that was rude, ok your shut out" (with a smile) and start with the routine on her friend(s) "is she always like this? how do you hang out with her". Kind of like a playful freeze out and to make her friend(s) laugh at her expense. Your in! She will still want back in because your not talking to her anymore and you just made her friend(s) laugh (shes missing out on a good time).

If you completely shut her out and the way you say it is serious, her friend(s) will sense that and you will loose the whole set.

If she is alone, you can still freeze her out by playfully turning your back to her for a few seconds. Then turn back around and continue. The biggest thing is to show her that you are no phased by her comment, it doesn't bother you.

but if you ARE genuinely creepy and your body language is showing that, then that is a separate issue you will have to fix with your body language and tone. (but that is just lack of calibration, run a new set right away and move on, practice practice practice.)

just from what I've learned. I'm by no means a reliable source of information... yet

If she says something that harsh; that direct, she means it. Smile an walk away...

Simple as that...

You shouldn't worry about how to respond to this; you should worry about how to keep a women from ever saying this again. That way you wont need a response

Correct. Chances are, you were a creep. Read less, spend more time in the field with people.

solid advice.

perhaps, maybe spending time sarging with other PUA's?

or find one, with whom you can wing.

You should probably try not being creepy.

Unless she's just being a bish, figure out what you did and stop doing it.

from what i've experienced you'd be best off working through her comment, like noochie said you have to convey to her that your not phased by her comment. if you just walk away from the set, your neglecting your ability to recover during a set and that could mess with your game down the track.

normally, i would agree.

however, with such a directed statement.... i dont think it would be a good idea to try and recover.

it could, come accross as even worse.

Well, if you're being yourself and she thinks it's creepy, there's nothing you can do but walk away.

Don't let this discourage you from further approaches though. You're in the field, so stay there. Reading material on "how to be less creepy" would be a step in the wrong direction.
