| Post subject: | Asking her to Super Bowl party - advice appreciated!! |
Things that make this situation unique and need to be considered: - this girl and I talked a few years ago but it never turned into anything because of my being a AFC. She said I wasn't confident. I'm different now. We've been hanging out together (albeit with our group of friends) and she is seeing the new me. - even though she sees the new me she still seems a bit hesitant. It's probably difficult for her to transition from the AFC me to the confident me. But she does flirt with me still... - we've been playing games through our phones for the past 2 weeks and talking smack with each other. She's into it. My sister is having a big super bowl party at her house, and I want to bring this girl. Heres what I was thinking about: Me: do you have plans for the SB? Her answer Me: my sister is having a big SB party and I want you to come Straight up, direct, and confident. What do you think of it? Any other suggestions? |

"Im picking you up at (time) for my sisters super bowl party, wear something cute." Thats direct, confident, and kind of fun |

you have a whole new chance to show her that your more confident. Usually i have the mindset down that i dont need her, or any of her BS. While thinking this i always have the edge agaisnt her. if she gets pissy, just walk away and give her no more attention for a bit. then when the times right go back in |

I really like this and I think it would be great for some other woman I know, but this one has a child so I have to be a bit more understanding of schedules and stuff.Thats direct, confident, and kind of fun I also thought of, "my sister is having a super bowl party - you should come" |

Anyone else have any thoughts on my proposed idea or an idea of their own? |

Update. I just asked her and she seems interested but she said that I'll just be paying attention to the game and not her. Talked for a bit about it and she said she would think about it. So what should I do now? Text her tomorrow night and ask her if she wants to go? If so, how should I phrase it? I was thinking about, "So you gonna come to the party and have an amazing spectacular fun filled night with me?" |

I think if she said she'd think about it, it's on her to get back to you. You're going to have fun regardless of her being there. If she wants to tag along to YOUR fun night, she should have to be the one to let you know. |
