So i've come to a struggling point.. I was wondering how you guys deal with this issue whilst getting to know a girl she assumes the whole ordeal becomes exclusive. She doesn't bring anything up, and neither do I. I never intend to be "seeing" just one girl but it seems within a few weeks I already have the given girl questioning what i'm doing. More recently I've found that (i'm from a smallish town approx 100k people) It's the girl's friends who might see me out talking to other girls/getting numbers and they give me the whole... "look, so and so has been hurt before!, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?" My only response really that I can come up with is "I wasn't aware we were together?" the problem here is that even though in my mind we're not together she/her friends must assume we are? as usually this happens within the first month or so it becomes a forgivable situation, usually.. however it kills the trust and puts me back to square 1. I'm all ok with communicating with the girl, but honestly how do you have the conversation with the girl? "I like you but i'm seeing other people" without her feeling fuccked over and walking away. |

A simple "You should know that I'm not looking for a relationship" as soon as you sense a lot of sexual tension between the two of you will do. I wrote the basics of Managing Expectations in my Outer Game guide stickied in the PUA Lounge, but I'll soon be writing another post that goes into further detail about the way I go about it. |

Awesome, i'll check out your post on precisely my issue!.. I've only posted this as my most recent encounter I actually explained the whole "i'm not looking for a relationship" yet after a few weeks.. I guess the girl just assumes i'll cave and commit? I however wont, I guess this is a case of different overall thoughts on the relationship and it really is her choice to put up with it or move on? Sucks, I am going to be painted as the "bad" guy in a smallish town.. however I was always honest from the beginning. Is it my fault they choose not to listen? |
