Howdy,

I am wondering how to desensitize yourself to HB's. A couple of months ago I could barely talk to women and that has done a 180, but the hotness factor is still bothering me..

I'm thinking of getting a second job one or two evenings a week where I can deal with a large amount of women in relatively short time..

Suggestions?

being around hot women over time will desensitise you anyways if you want a 'quick fix' visit a strip club and talk to them that will do it too

I read strip clubs are bad... Something about only desensitize you to the behavior and social cues within the strip club itself.

Yeah, it is so funny how when I really don't care about the girl for whatever reason, I totally DHV myself and be able to resist them manipulating me. But, when she is hot to me, I wish there was a switch that could just turn off the "care."....lol

I agree, just like in any other science or technique...you just go over it and over it and over it...until it becomes routine...

Hard part here in Denver, CO, there is literally mostly 6's and 7's...hardly any 8's and above (IMO) So, it is not like I can just go out to the beach, like in SOCA,L and boom!

Haha no doubt.. I'm thinking of exploring buddhism and the cessation of desire but I don't want to eradicate the desire to f-close let alone approach, hah!

Probably not the answer you're looking for but . . .

You might be looking to desensitize yourself because your reality is that the girls you're approaching are probably dating better guys than you. You know this, they know this, everybody knows this. So you might be attempting to take reality out of the picture. If this is the case, try the affirmation route and scream lies to yourself in front of a mirror. "I am Brad Pitt. I am Brad Pitt. Yes I am . . . And you pretty girls are dirty little whores. Yes you are. Yes you are. . . " - Most PU affirmations are poorly worded variations of this motif'.

On the other hand, if you have a good head on your shoulders, you've got a decent career or you're working your way towards one. And you have a good group of friends who care for one another and have a blast with each other. You have hobbies. You kick ass at some things in life. You're a fun guy and people call you up to make plans with you . . . if all of this is true AND you still have difficulty approaching the hotties, then the idea is not to desensitize but to become even more sensitive to reality. In this case, your reality is that these hotties would drool over a hot shot like yourself right?

The advice I got in the Seduction Dating crowd awhile ago is to treat hot women like they're not hot women. Nothing so special about 'em. This is easier to do if you have some intellectual distance from them, i.e. they may be hotter, but you know you're smarter. Or, if you're just an abstract thinker. Heh, how do you dehumanize someone? :) This might be an easier trick for Rationalist type personalities to pull off. If you're a Sensualist, and deeply into how she looks, well... I guess you're gonna struggle! Just saying, the Jedi Mind Tricks do work to some extent for some of us.

Make a complete fool of yourself.

For me, I crash and burn on my first couple of sets during the day.

I say the worst pick up lines or anything really.

For example, the other day I walked into a store. There were 2 HB8s at one register.
I bought some books. HB1 is my target.
Me: hey, can I ask you something?
HB 1: Sure.
Me: If I told you that you had one of the sexiest bodies all day, would you hold it against me?
HB1: Sure I would.
HB2: yOU KNOW i WOULD!
Me: then lemme ask you another question. If I asked you for you number, would you give it to me?
HB1: (Giggle)
HB2: Uhh, ok. Bye.

Oh, that got me in the right mindset. I said probably the worst thing I could think of at the time and all she did was say "bye".
