Post subject:  What to do with this girl, in this situation? ..difficult?
Ok, so theres this girl in my university, had the awkward eye contact thing going on for 2 days, and then i saw her sitting by herself, so i went up to her, and her work was spread out all over the place in the computer room. so i was like "hey is anyone sitting here" to which she smiled and replied no. Then i logged on to the computer and was like so whats your name.. broke the ice and we were talking for about 10-15 mins, a general conversation found out about her, was pretty ok normal paced. Then, i was hoping to see her around as, when i saw her i was going to walk her home from the library. As i often saw her very late and i was pretty sure she lived somewhere close by. But 2 days went and i didnt see her, this was aparently because she was on the ground floor computer rooms and no1 goes there. then i saw her again, in a computer room on the third floor where we always used to see each other, she was sitting there on a round computer table, surrounded by people, and chatting to people around her. How was i ment to go up to her and try and get her number. With bare randoms listening, and boys that she knew sitting next to her. So i pussyied out, EXTREMELY frustration as i have no real lack of confidence to approach a girl by herself. I saw her again the next day, she gave a smile (this time i didnt know if it was bad or good) but again, she was always surrounded by people. Some stupid guy that she was bare talking to and having jokes with. I dont know if i could have just intercepted the conversation and asked for her number. I couldnt get her alone, as i am sure she left with people she was with. I would have definately approached her if she was alone and asked for it. So the ultimate question is. How do you approach a girl that is with diffrent guys, and surrounded by diffrent people, that hear ur game when ur trying to her number. Because your doing it in front of everyone and people she knows!!!....Help. You know the feelign when ur sitting with one of ur girl mates, and a random guy tried to approach her, you immidietly think, what a deuche bag. Which is then conveyed onto her.

I think you've entered into the creepy dude phase. Move on to the next one, and try to limit contact to only situations that you can control.

I understand what you are saying, but no one can control wether a girl is going to be with people or not right? like how was i supposed to know she was gona be with guys working on a project thing.

Also you know how girls are, they like to do things, but they dont like people knowing they are doing them, in which case this would work against me, as evem if she did wantto give me her number, maybe she didnt wanna do it in front of her mates, or even random people sitting next to her, coz she is worried how she may look.

Right. So, let her be naturally isolated next time and get the number next time you see her.

I would give this a try. It helps isolate and deals with the group. I believe its part of the Mystery Method.

Learn a magic trick or illusion. Get yourself into the group by opening it. "Hey guys I was just wondering if you I could do a little trick for you, I am meeting some friends soon so I only have a min (DHV and that you are social)." Perform the trick, and just one trick. You are not there to entertain the group. If the group asks you to do another instruct them to close their eyes. Grab the girl whos number you want and lead her away from the group. If they dont ask to see another trick offer to show them another and then have then close their eyes etc. Take her anywhere maybe a coffee shop on campus or just around the corner. If you take longer than just that min or two and she calls you out on it, brush it off. You are the alpha male and hang out with who you want to when you want to do it.

I agree,but come on man, realistically, its exam time, everyone in library working hard,and i come out like some goon saying HEY GUYS WHO WANTS TO SEE A MAGIC TRICK, i really appreciate the advice, but more often than not, i am pretty sure, playing that, in library exam time, i would get the response, err. wtf freak, get out of here. Maybe if i was in a club or a bar or something where people are thereto socialise that would be more appropriate. But from what i got out of the answer, is isolation is key right. Cheers for the advice mate!

Magic Tricks and other gimmicks are stupid crutches that should be reserved for keeping the ADD attention spans of drunk girls, nothing else.

I agree with you, I dont know a single trick and dont care to learn any. It is as you said a means to keep or even spark attention of the ADD girls.
