I've been going direct, and I only have 5-10 minutes to talk the female, as we are in between classes.

How long should I plan to talk to a girl in that first meeting before I go for a day 2 close?

IT DEPENDS.

Calibrate, make sure you have a time constraint, and ask for her number on a high note.

Tell a joke, make her laugh, say "Aw shit, gotta run" and grab the number.

Thanks man great advice. The thing is, I want to go straight for the day 2 then get her number, but only as by product of the day 2.

I've seen this done. Any tips on that particular situation?Or will the technique you posted work just as well.

This works all the time. Tailor it towards your situation. Since you want her number after the day 2 then maybe try to ask her on the day 2 instead of the number. Suggest a quick coffee, meet during another break, food, etc. If all goes well you should easily get a number. Never tried this so good luck
