What's up guys? Just curious, I just wanted to know if any of you think this could be applied to gay men trying to pick up other gay men? I think guys (gay & straight) are predominately after looks...but I've seen my fair share of pretty ugly dudes hooking up with the good-looking ones (and it wasn't because they were rich or famous). So...what do you think? Or am I just wasting my time? |

I dont think it would work, for ie. gay guys dont usually have bitch shield, and you cant just kino and create attractions right off the bat, you would have to identify whether your target is actually gay or not etc.. However, you can still use routines and methods based upon the nature of human rather than gender ie. the cube, 5 question game, 60s nonverbal escalation, etc |

You'd be surprised, a lot of gay guys put up the bitch shield (at least the hot ones)Quote: However, you can still use routines and methods based upon the nature of human rather than gender ie. the cube, 5 question game, 60s nonverbal escalation, etc
Definitely, I just wish there was infield stories with actual gay guys

This is a tough question to answer. Either way you push it, you stay to stereotype gay men which... I'm inclined to say they WOULD work, but that's assuming the frames that we use with women would work with gay men as well (they want the same thing). It would definitely be interesting to hear testimonials from gay men. For now, it is a mystery! |

Totally baffling. I thought walking into certain gay bars in certain metro areas and almost saying, "Hey, wanna fuck?" was standard drill or something. I could be wrong, but I did live in Capitol Hill in Seattle for 11 years, which is one of the gayest places on Earth. I projected a "straight vibe" that caused me to be left alone, but nevertheless I did get hit on twice that I can remember. Once, I was passing in front of a gay bar and some older incorrigible made a comment about my basket. I sorta laughed and shrugged it off and went on my way. Gave me some empathy for how chicks feel, walking in front of a construction site or something. Another time, I was in a bar that wasn't gay per se, but I guess it had some gay clientele. I had a sketchbook with me, and for some reason this guy looked at it. Maybe he was an artist too or something, I can't remember. Um, then he grabbed my thigh. I think it's pretty clear that he would have gone and done whatever with me right then and there. So, from my very limited experience being hit on by gay men, why are you even asking this? Men fuck, they're dead easy. Are you trying to get something else, like the best possible man? Wouldn't even begin to know or care. No idea about dykes. No idea how they're wired. I think PUA is based mostly on straight women resisting sex, because of ancient ideas about getting pregnant. Otherwise I'm not sure PUA would need to exist. I mean, seriously, pre-AIDS if some gay guy wanted to go into a certain bar and get fucked by dozens of guys right then and there, he could and would. Why on earth would such people need technique to get sex? You really think the good looking guy in such a gay bar is foregoing the group sex? |

You're under the impression that all men are created equal, at least attraction wise. It's sort of like me turning it around and asking "Why are you into pickup when you can have sex with every fat and ugly chick? They're dead easy..." Of course the answer is you have standards, as do gay men. Most guys, gay and straight, are not physically attractive...and the most attractive gay guys in bars are not going with the "nice shoes, let's fuck" line, unfortunately... |

That's a very good question indeed. I think it might require some tweaking though as some traits that PUA tries to drill on people (Dominance comes to mind) might not be well recieved by guys. I may be wrong, but I don't know if all gay guys love a dominant type. I'm sure some do, but hey... you can answer that more then me. I could see some of the direct stuff working pretty well though. At least you would know quickly if they are interested or not. I was told by one of my gay buddies that it's all about eye contact. If you get the look/hold eye contact/look away/ look back then it's on. So at this point better go more direct and kino and all. I guess you would have to do some introspection and think about what kind of guy you like, what kind of guy these guys like and tailor your game with that. Good luck! |
