kk well i met her awhile ago at some random party.. we didnt really talk much till she invited me to her new years party, and after that we started talking.. on facebook i got her number from her and have been txting her since.. in terms of our interaction, she responds positively to my advances and goes along with my role playing.. (on the flip side, she hasnt yet initiated a conversation). with all this in mind, i feel its easier to txt, but ive been told that calling shows confidence and she is more likely to accept a date.. thats why im sorta sitting on the fence here, not knowing what to do :S |

how old are you? cause i know for my age im 18 still in high school texting is how people really set things up calling i feel is kind of awkward. But if you do choice to text her make it something like this. actually do you want to ask her on a date? or just to hang out? alright anyway lets say to just ask her out to hang out. text her saying hey me and my friends are at (restaurant) come join us. But for a phone call hmm i dont know calling is not my strong point its much easier to text but use the same idea. Hey me and the guys or friends or w;e you wanna say are going to (restaurant) later tonight you should come by and grab a bite to eat with us. Keep in mind im no expert but here is my advice, let me know how it goes. |

I don't think it matters what age you are, calling will always be better. The only thing is, is that you have to sound/be confident over the phone. If you feel nervous or something then you have the chance of sounding like a retard or something over the phone. It will be easy to tell in your voice if you're nervous. I still suggest a call, but just have a plan already made before so you know what you're going to say. The last thing you want to keep saying over the phone is "umm..." or "i don't know / i don't care" |
