Alright, every once in a while I hear about some PUA who is so good that he goes into club, chooses the girl, approaches and in 5-10 minutes leaves with her from the club and ends f-closing her the same night, similarly, goes out on the street in the day-time and picks up a girl and brings her back home and f-closes. and all these with 90%+ success rate. Can this be true? |

No that's the same as saying does Michael Jordan have a 90% success rate with his shots, most likely not. The skilled PUAs get a signal and act on it accordingly e.g. eye contact and smile from a girl. Some may only act on girls that are giving heavy IOIs. However it's most likely possible to heavily inflate your chances on only approaching girls after getting IOIs. On approaching cold sets though this statistic would be extremely unrealistic. |

I wasnt saying it wasnt possible, i was just saying that i dont believe the OP's mate was being truthful... otherwise we'd probably have heard about him, and bow down to him as a legend of the game..... if by some chance he is being truthful, you may want to check him for rohypnol. |

I very much doubt it's true. But anyway, the "success rate" for me isn't really the point. I go out with the intention of displaying my personality and immediately telling a girl I'm interested. If she's not, I move on. If she continues the interaction, I assume attraction and escalate. That's it. I'm not trying to get EVERY girl, because some girls won't find me attractive, or my style of humour funny, or my personality interesting, and I'm not gonna sit there and modify one ounce of myself to make sure I close. I'd rather get blown out 10/20 times in a row (since that'll only take me 20 minutes) and then find a girl who finds me hilarious and super sexy, then plough for an hour with a girl who'll barely give me the time of day. Why bother? |

Why bother? I totally love the congruence in what you're doing... This should be what more of us are after!!! Being attracted to the things you do and how u act. Its not narcisism if you dont over endulge AND it makes you happy. PUA is about transforming into a more attractive person... to yourself... THEN projecting your joyous attitude onto your sets. If its going to be a fight to pull a female whos a 9... but there are ten 8/9s in the room... move on. Unless you are in love with difficulty or compromising yourself to close a douchebag girl... |

although my success rate with same night f-closes is VERY small... I will say that my f-close % is close to 100 with chicks that I get numbers and actually try to f. I really don't sarge that often (on account that I only go out about twice a month and have a gf that is often in the same club I'm at when I do go out), but when I do, I get numbers and I f close later. Last year I think I only f closed about 8 NEW chicks. but I probably only got about 12 new numbers. I play the game for the point where I know that I CAN have whatever chick, if I wanted her (weird, maybe, but it's an ego thing for me). I now am on a mission of SNL's. I've only had a handful, but 2011 is the year I'm perfecting this! |
