ok so i'm currently fuck buddies with this one girl but i want more and she likes me and wants to get to know me better but isn't sure yet because she just got out of a long relationship with her ex and blah blah blah so...we were texting and i was just hinting at going on a date with her but then taking it away cause...well...i don't ask people out through texts.
like i mentioned downtime on wednesday but said otherwise i have shit to do and she goes:
ohhh cool
that's it...so i figured she wanted me to ask her out to do something to prioritize her into my week so i go:
"yeah so i'd like to see you wednesday but with my luck that's your busiest day :p" (afc? yeah i know.)
her: "i'm not really busy at all during the week. just trying to get to sleep earlier."
her again: *subject change*
so we talked about the new subject until we started talking about roommates and how mine always had his gf over and it would be awkward so eventually i started coming in late just to make them not want to sleep there and she goes
"well next time i'll come over and sleep with you to make it awkward for them"
i basically tell her "my door is always open hahaha :p"
So she texts me:
her: hahah let's do it. so wednesday, high times at the art museum?
me: wait i'm the guy here and i set up the dates and i say, art museum high times on wednesday? ... :p hahah duh i'm down
her: hahahah good. i'm excited. you sayin it's a date?!
me: haha yes.
her: (we're going to drink beforehand) do you wanna split a bottle?
me: how much?
her: bout 15
me: so round 8 each? ok i'm down with that
her: mhmm
me: lez-do-eet
her: hoookay
me: yeooookay (she doesn't like when i say that but in a giggly 'you're a dork' type way)
her: noooo!
me: yes.
her: nah dude
me: yeah brah
no response for a few hours
her: hi i'm going to bed gooooodnight
me: arright goodnight.
.......
now my question is just...did she start talking in shorter messages and ignoring my "haha yes
" cause i referred to it as a date? should i have said what i was originally going to say and gone with "i didn't say it was anything, but feel free to think whatever you want :p" ? or am i reading too far into this and she was just busy/the conversation had been resolved at the date so i should've just stopped responding and she was just trying to end the conversation? or am i still reading too far into it and there was nothing worth reading into and it's a date, that's that?...reading over it i'm pretty sure she's into me...but just getting a second opinion.
