How exactly are you being "blown out?"
What kind of "reputation" are you getting?
My initial advice before learning more would be to do COLD approach with STRANGERS so that, if you get blown out badly, it won't affect your reputation.

)As for getting obsessed by pickup, I think a lot of us go through that. What I started to do was read around a lot of the areas that come up to broaden my knowledge. So for example I read a lot of NLP, which helps with my job in sales, sexual technique (which helps with my job fucking the shit out of bitches) and a bunch of self-help stuff like 7 habits of effective people and how to win friends and influence people, etc.
In this way you can take that motivation and drive you have to succeed with women and turn it into a more general drive for self-improvement for many different areas, helping you become a more well-rounded person.
People who only talk about PU all day turn fucking weird. (This includes the people at RSD who also talk about Eckhart Tolle but are still fucking weird.) Don't be like them.
