Hey guys, I have been talking to this girl for about 6 months now.... I met her while hanging out with my buddies 1 day and she was there and the next thing I know she adds me on Facebook.... so after that we started talking like every single day and even meet up and hang out a few times...but the thing is... she's going away to college soon and she doesn't want to have a relationship with me because she thinks it's gonna break my heart... I tried convincing her but it seems that I keep failing at it.... We both like each other, I know this for a fact but... she isn't willing to give our relationship an opportunity because it might fail and we might not be as close again... guys i have no idea on how to solve this and I realllyyy do NOT want to give up on her... |

I don't need to tell you this, but, you're developing Oneitis. This will work against you for three reasons. (a) The girl will be able to sense your desperation so she will be inclined to remain as only friends with you. The most unattractive trait a man can display is desperation. (b) You will ignore other opportunities with women because you are hung over on this single one. (c) You're life will be a standstill if you stay desperate for one girl. She will put you into social paralysis and you'll lose your passion in your career and other aspects of your life. "Men conquer worlds, women conquer men." As for this girl, going away to college is in my opinion, irrelevant. There is nothing that will stop a woman from being with you or fuking you if they want to. They will travel across the country, tame a dragon, and learn to play the chello if that's what it takes for them to sleep with an Alpha they are attracted to. Worst case scenario, she would've wanted to be with you until she ACTUALLY goes away to college. The specifics of this situation is clouding your judgment, the only thing that matters when determining whether a girl wants to be with you is her INTEREST LEVEL - the rest of it is simply a matter of logistics. The reason why she still wants to talk to you everyday and invites you over to lunch is because women have an innate biological impetus to gain as much attention from guys as possible. Remember - Men use relationships to get sex, women use sex to get relationships. Women WANT to be WANTED. They want men to be hung over them, to think about them all day, to text them with hymns of love, and to be crushed when they leave them. When men oblige to simply "stay friends" they are allowing a girl to get what she wants out of a relationship (attention, nourishment) while simultaneously allowing her to preserve her intimacy for a man she is more attracted to. On a side note, you should not be talking to a girl everyday who isn't putting out. You should be busy with work, digging trenches in your backyard for your enemies, or stealing cars. Consistency with attention / showering a girl with love does not build attraction - it builds rapport. |
