Literally have no confidence with them, don't know what to do. Searched on google and found this site, hopefully i can work to improve with help on here? I realised i needed to improve when one night not long ago i was out and all the other guys were making out with girls and i was not. It might be a confidence thing, i was grabbed in the balls by a lesbian (i didn't do anything because i was really nervous), and the girls were friendly enough, but i just don't know what the hell to do and how to do it. Confidence is low, i'm only 19 but i feel this may be a problem for the rest of my life if i don't sort it out. A couple of weeks ago i lost my virginity to an escort, but that didn't help either with knowing what to do, although it did lessen my fear of girls significantly because she was god damn hot. Not really proud of it, but i really enjoyed it, kinda like some dirty secret. But, i really do want to develop myself. Bear in mind, my insecurity is that i'm not really tall (1.74m). So, might have to overcome that first. |

You shouldnt be insecure about your height. 174 is about avrage. Anyway, I hope this site can help you. It has helped alot of people  My best advice to you, is to go for it, just take chances and you will most of the time succeed. And even if you fail, you must learn from your mistakes What doesnt kill you makes you stronger fits perfectly with women |

Great to see you here! Couple things, because you are so new to this "game": - Not everything every "guru" says and sells is legitimate; you can gleam on most of their information from this forum anyways. In other words, don't max out your credit cards buying eBooks by the third day. - Not everything everyone says on this forum is accurate. Theoretically, they would be right. But really, there are some idiots on this forum who claim to be right. For example, me  . We're all learning, and so don't just assume people on here are all legit.- PUA isn't really where you learn to pick up every single possible chick out there, as someone on this forum said, its to filter through the girls that could possibly like you and attract them in the most efficient way. - Much of this stuff is common sense. There are a couple of tips and tricks you may want to learn, but I personally suggest to stay out of heavy psychological what-we-call "outer game." Its memorizing lines and learning when to spit them out that allows you to "pick up women." Outer game, in my own and personal opinion, is too strict, rigid, and a pain in the ass to memorize. I'd rather go with Natural Game, or Inner Game, because that focuses on your root problems and character; probably what you need, based on your claims of lack of confidence. L - Be careful in the Natural Game section. Lots of Doofuses there too. - Have fun, look around, and welcome to the community. I hope we can help you out! PM if you need anything -Print. |

One more thing: I can't believe I forgot this one! - Be prepared to experience a lot of psychological pain. Just kidding. However, you will never get the experience or skills of "pick up" if you hide from yourself and just sit at this forum reading theory articles all day long. So make sure you get out there and practice! You'll probably start by approaching various people of all ages, just to get yourself going. Work from there. You'll probably get rejected a lot from the beginning, but you'll soon realize that rejection isn't the enemy. Its okay to be rejected. In fact, some nuts out there encourage rejection. In my opinion, trying to get yourself rejected is another nuts exaggeration of a technically correct theory. It just means that you shouldn't be afraid to be rejected, and therefore prevent yourself from opening a girl. - Terms are a pain in the ass to memorize. Only in the beginning, but will be easy to pick up on later. Terms: AFC- Average Frustrated Chump. You can go figure. rAFC- Recovering AFC. PUA- Pick up artist. mPUA- Master Pick up artist. Neg- Its a back-handed compliment... more on this later. Set - Group of girls/boys. Target - The girl you're going for. DLV - Demonstrate lower value. DHV- Demonstrate higher value. Close - Get action from. Blown out - Rejected. Bad. You can figure most of them out anyways. |

First of, welcome to the forums. You'll find a lot of great techniques and help here by these guys and we're a bunch of mates aswell, so you're more then welcome. I'd advise before going out getting in the right state of mind. It's a tric that a lot of people don't do, but trust me, it helps a lot. Getting in the right state of mind, that of somebody having fun, enjoying the night, feeling confident --> does wonders! My advise; before you go out. Listen to some songs that pump you up and give you confidence. When you listen to them, repeat sentences girls said to you about you that were positive like "I'm cute", "I'm sweet" & "I'm handsome". Make sure you say them in front of a mirror, with a smile & god damn.. believe in it! ≠ LD |

Thanks everyone. It means a lot to me that you went into this much detail. I will read up and go out when i can to improve. But, i need to get over my feeling of inadequacy while i'm at it. |
