Many thanks fellas! I met this girl at Starbucks a month ago. We hit it off like crazy talking for long hrs almost closing every time we met up there, which has been like 5 times. No joke fellas we talked and hung out each time for almost 8 plus hrs! I have not made a move on her but have made it clear on texting that i like spending time with her and how "distracting " in a good way she has been to me. We do text back and forth a lot. I have asked her out 2x trying to move things away from the Starbucks setting and she said both times she was busy with family and friends and to be honest I did this via text . ( A little disclose this has been during the Christmas season and shes home for the holidays also) My main goal was not to fall into the friend zone which has been an unfortunate issue in my life so far.To save pride i pulled back and didn't talk with her for a week plus... this was hard my brothers no lie. Then i got this text a few days ago asking how i was doing and that she came by the Starbucks hoping to see me but i wasn't there that day. I didn't replay. Then I got another one a few days later asking about my exam i was preparing. I kept it short saying i moved it a few weeks then she said this "So more Starbucks studying for us then? cool!" Fellas no lie....i like this girl and i want her, but I am not sure if she seems me as a friend or as something potentially more. Hanging with her, i feel to my mind doesnt feel like friendship to me but i might be seeing what i want to see. Fellas.............any suggestions as to how to approach? If I am still in the game? Do i still have a chance? How do i proceed with success? Again any suggestions would be appreciated. |

well, since she has been more pro active than you in terms of cantact these last days it would be fine to aks her out somewhere else again, suggest something specific but let her choose the evening ("so when do you want to go to xyz?" ) this way there will be little room for excuses. when on that date start escalating things, but dont let it be too abrupt. if she doesnt want to go out somewhere else its an indication that she likes things the way they are. |

It sounds to me like you need to stop "almost closing", you've had five 8 hour sessions with this girl, why haven't you made a move? |
