Hey there I was walking through the park after i had my hair cut when an HB8 just shouted out to me, LOVE YOUR JACKET!!! i was a bit stunned and had no idea what to do so i just said thank you and moved on In the very rare occasions i do get complimented in the street or whatever, i usuallt have no words to say amd so miss my chance so for any experts here Is there a way of converting her compliment into a number or whatever - even if your unprepared??? thank you |

There is many comebacks to that... - I'm not that easy you know. Just a compliment won't get you my number. (playfull delivery ofc) Something like this comes to mind. I think I would just walk over and say: -Thanks. Do you often scream compliments at attractive men or you made an exception for me? or just: - Thanks, my name is X *exttend and for handshake* Point is, anything beat not doing anything about it. |

I just say things like, "I know." Or in your case I would have taken off my jacket while saying, "As a matter of fact..(confident masculine voice) did you know that this jacket is made of the best materials for optimal comfort/warmth/swag?" While going around to her back and putting it on her. If she rejects, I would then say, "Trust me, you'll feel the difference." Her: no thanks, it's ok really Me: "We will all end up on our death bed when our life is almost gone thinking about all the things we regret doing". If she rejects again, I would put the jacket back on and say upon leaving, "It's a pleasure to have met you." |
