Her: Come play with me (_Jax_) D: (Xbox)
Me: I wish I could. but after my xbox heard you say that, it ran away.
Her: oh mkay whatever
Me: Tell (friend) I said hi for me.
Her: nope
Me: Guess I'll have to go tell her myself then.
Have fun dying endlessly in COD.
(end)

Her saying "oh mkay whatever" defiantly was not good. But Im like this all the time with this girl (just for the hell of it), and she keeps coming back for more.

Suggestions on what I should of said instead?

That wasn't "cocky" that was rude and a little obnoxious IMO. You're over doing it.

You never want to sound "forced" or "fake" when dealing with women. They are not stupid. They have been learning about men since they were 5 years old. You have to come off NATURAL or you'll fail.

The whole cocky thing is meant to playfully tease and neg girls in a FUN way. She needs to be having FUN. One example is saying something like: "As long as you play by my rules" after she says "Come play with me".

The cocky thing also depends on the situation. No need to be constantely doing it.

Thanks for the response. I kinda gathered that I was more asshole then anything else after reading it.

Ive known her for years so I should be able to fix this with a nice apology. : )

I wouldn't apologize in this situation unless you're already in the friend zone.

Stand behind what you did, but learn from it and try not to do it again. Apologies should be used sparingly and only in real situations IMO.
