Post subject:  Need a roadmap for this Daygame situation.
I only do daygame and approaching is not a problem for me any more. But after I open, I continue a bit of fluff talk and then the conversation kinda fizzles out. Like what happened today, I was in library surfing internet at the computer section and I opened the girl sitting beside me with 3 accurate observations about her(Thanks to all the Sherlock Holmes stories!!). She was quite amazed. Then she told me more about where she was from and all. I shared a little about myself, but after about 3 or 4 questions I felt somewhat lost and we both went back to surfing :? .I mostly use a situational opener but I just can't capitalize on my opening. This is not normal library gaming because here we are sitting side by side and lazily surfing the web. And this is a particular scenario that I encounter very often. If it were anywhere else then I would give a time constraint and #close but here we both continue sitting there. Any input on how to number close in this specific situation in future would be highly appreciated.

this is why i dont use situation openers often, when i do use them i stack it with an opinion opener (im buying a new shirt, what color do you think would suit me?), these are the best ways to get a conversation going.

also consider using observational or responsive transitions to keep the conversation moving forward. always try to take her reactions and answers to opinion openers and look to where you could take conversation next. there will be plenty material there, its just finding it.

maybe you could have played a game or told a good dhv story?

examples;
the cube
5 lies game
lying game
fuck,kill,marry

if you dont know any of these let me know, would be happy to share a run thru.

always have a few dhv stories incase u run out of things to say. truth be told they work better if a wing tells about you but if u r alone this is still pretty essential in building attraction bro.

if you see this chick again you should def approach again, with humour, tease her about something she said or 1 of your observations from last time you met.

then maybe some fluff talk before getting in to one of the games above and then a dhv story.

the lying game

dead simple m8, a good opener for this game is the 'who's better at lying, men or women opener' basically the game is you have to tell eachother 3 truths and 1 lie (or other way round but i use it the way iv written it, i changed it in a few places thru field testing) and then the other has to guess what the truths are and whats the lie. get her to go first, it doesnt matter if you guess right or not. just teasre and neg her on her truths and if you guessed right tell her she's a lousy lier make sure its fun. when its your turn tell 3 short dhv stories for your truth, make sure they sound exciting and unlikely and make your lie seem more likely so she probably guesses wrong, she will then probably go on to ask you about your truths (did you really fight a bear? fly a helicopter? save your friends? meet the president? whatever)

fuck kill marry is a good game to play to build comfort as it creates a conspiracy between you and her.

basically you pick out 3 nerdy/ugly guys around the room, has to be somewere crowded(or as i have been experimenting with 2 guys and a hb) and tell her if she had to fuck 1, marry 1 and kill 1 who would be who then make her give you reasons. her answers should be funny and you can tease her a bit.
then get her to point out 3 girls for you to answer on. just make sure your answers are fun.

Number closed this girl just a few hours ago. 8)

The conversation kept flowing and all the initial jitters just melted away. I didn't use any routine, not because I didn't want to but because I forgot them :wink: Infact later on when I felt more comfortable in my skin while talking to her I didn't even feel the need to use any routine. I was doing everything instinctively.
I teased the hell out of her. Built comfort and connection. Could have done a little more kino though. I have to be consciously aware of doing more of it next time.


I had a big realization after we exchanged numbers and I walked away.

The only thing you need to become good is courage. And that too only a little. Irrespective of whether you succeed or not , the experience of going through that process in itself is going to give you confidence when you do it next time. I believe this is pretty good return for showing just a little amount of courage. In my opinion confidence is a state of mind and body. It can't be faked. Either you have it or you don't. But courage is something that you can have all the time. Courage is that infinite supply of raw material in you that can be used to manufacture as much confidence as you want. And as long as you are moving forward, taking baby steps is fine, you don't have to take giant leaps.

This was a huge epiphany for me and I hope you can take away something from this post.

yes, a bit of courage can go a long way because if you are afraid to try things, say certain things, and just be diferent in general then you are never going to get better or get what you want.

if you give what you have always given, you will get what you have always got!

dare to be different.

another good thought is that there is no losing in this game because with every sarge, successful or not, you have learned a little and made yourself that little bit more comfortable with what you are doing!
