Post subject:  Typical Me

Long story short guys, an old friend of mine got out of a 3 year relationship a few months back. She always had a thing for me, infact she liked me way more than her ex-boyfriend.

We started dating about a month ago. I didn't want to be the rebound chap so I told her no relationships, she agreed and told me the feeling was mutual. However, 3 weeks into our relationship she told me to stop dating because she still had slight feelings for her ex, who by the way, still hangs around with her clique. I met him a few times (same college, small world) and apparently he hates my guts, I dont blame him lol. Hes needy, obsessive and a loser.

I asked her why we stopped, and when she told me that it was because of him it made me really upset. And at one point I started downgrading her ex (from experience i can say that that was a BIG mistake). Which brings us to this day.

Still upset cause I don't want things to end. Need to eliminate her feelings for the dude.

Freeze out time?

EDIT: Apparently this is in the wrong forum section, my apologies. Mods please feel free to move.

Date other women. If that's not getting her jealous at least it's getting you a) good times and b) a cure for oneitis.

But I know your situation and it's easier said then done. I usually try to ignore the other dude in conversations and when she brings him up I just tell her that I'm awsome in a cocky funny way. It's MY world she needs to be in, not his...

Freeze out time indeed.

She clearly likes you and she will be back. Date other girls in the mean time

Unfortunatly I do have a shortage of women right now because of work. And I doubt its onetitis, been there before, not the case here.

Freezing it is then. Thanks.

'looks like he's living his life for YOU, i think that's sweet'

yada yada

let her destroy the guy

Imo, freeze-out doesn't do much besides making you look scorned. Support her decision by complimenting AFC-features about the guy.
