Post subject:  Guys, I need advice, did I fuck up with this girl or what?
‎Backstory: I went to a frat house on Friday. For Halloween I was a UFC fighter, she was a boxer (I never met her before), we talked, pretend fought, then danced, then made out, then I got her phone number. The entire time I was cocky funny, leading the conversation, gave her compliance tests that she followed through on. When she had to leave and I got her phone number she pulled me in to make out with her.

Today I started the texting this afternoon.

Me: I'm still recovering from the fight we had, I didn't hurt you too bad did I?
Her: Nah I'm tough, I can take it :p
Me: Oh that's good, I have three broken ribs, no big deal. How was the rest of your night?
Her: I was playing nice. You should be thankful I went easy on you :) Rest of the night was alright, how about you?
Me: It was awesome. I want a rematch, you should come over to my friend's pregaming party.
Her: I already have plans tonight! Damn. Maybe we could meet up at the bars? :]
Me: Yeah sure, I'll text you later.
Her: Sounds like a plan Keith ;)

So yeah, that was good. Then I texted her at 12:00 "I'm heading downtown, what are you up to?" and she replied back "ill c ya soon dude! tonight is not good for me."

So I figured she was out with other people having fun and I picked the wrong ass time to text.

What should I do? Should I just wait a week and give her one more chance? I feel like texting her soon would be a horrible idea. I'm really lost right now.

So I facebook creeped and saw pictures of her at a friend's house tonight at some small party.

Looks like she didn't go out at all, which is a good thing because that means she wasn't out getting nailed by some random guy.

Awesome, I think, right?

somehow you feel like you've become entitled to this girl or something. thats not your lady for one and fb stalking is creepy dont do that lol. But maybe, and im just putting this out there, last night actually WASNT a good night for her. o_O

i dont think you did anything wrong, she just already had plans thats all, and its a good thing about her that she has respect for herself and her mates that she didnt drop them for you (who she only just met)

have you made her a friend on fb then? plus you have her number, why not just txt her 'are you out this weekend?'

am sure you both go to the same places ... so if she tells you she is prob going out with her mates fri but seems a bit non-commital keep it cool but make plans to meet up in town while you are out with your mates, then prhaps you can turn saturday into something a bit more intimate...

i agree with ariana , it just seems like she has plans.

avoid this by making plans for later in the week. it makes it seem like youre busy and in high demand and also stops you from looking needy by constantly asking her to come out tonight.

Sounds like she really did have plans. Text her sometime this week, like Tuesday or Wednesday and ask her what her plans for the weekend are.

I personally like to try and get together with a girl sometime during the week instead of just waiting until the weekend, but if you're busy all week then setting something up for the weekend is alright too. Keep us posted dude!

You will drastically reduce your flake rate if you can arrange day 2's on weekday evenings a few days in advance. Girls have their friends to see, and they will be wary of sacrificing their whole Friday or Saturday for a guy they barely know who could turn out to be a fucktard with a 2 inch dick. Plus, you're reducing your variables. If you arrange to see them with their friends, when you're with your friends, at some club, so much other stuff could happen, and you have to deal with their friends, any possible cockblocks, and you have to be super high energy and the funnest guy there all night. Why not meet for a drink on a wednesday night, bounce to a place with free live bands, then to a chilled out lounge by your place, and then back to yours. You're in complete control, you DHV by knowing these places (and hopefully knowing some of the people / staff there if it's your local area) and you have her complete, undivided attention and are not competing with anyone else.
