| Post subject: | Do taller guys get more "Alpha points"? |
So I have two occasions where this has happened. First I think my buddy who is a 6 foot tall, good looking, socially proofed and preselected guy who doesn't close well at all gets more attention then me. Im a 5'6 Really good looking recovering afc. There is this girl he is trying to get at but he said she is fair game or she's a free for all so there is no restriction on this girl. So we see her at a party my friend and I went to. She comes over to us and just says hi to him and has a little conversation with him. its not till a minute after that she says hi to me. (FYI Im off doing my own not just waiting there for her to acknowledge me) so later that night I go up to her and run some game and I eject kinda awkwardly because I was testing her to re-initiate conversation. Also before she left she just came over and said bye to my buddy when i was standing right next to him. What does this girl think of me? or what can i do to change this? I know his game isnt very sharp because ive seen him run game so Im thinking its because of his height. Im not self-conscious of my height btw |

I dont mean to bust balls, but if you made a thread like this, it is laced with insecurity over your height. Thats not necessarily a bad thing. Im 5'4 so I know where you're coming from. Want the cold hard truth? The majority of women are naturally attracted to taller guys. We live in a society where a taller person is perceived to be more independent, more athletic, more authorative, and more socially savvy. I've been blown out of the water because of my height, I've had girlfriends that broke it off because of my height. Men and women in general subconsciously respond to a taller person more than a shorter one. That's really just the way of the world. That's why things like PUA are here. Men of all shapes and sizes. We cant change our height, but we can make the best of what we've got. there's no substitute for great game and when you find the girl that recognizes this and isnt worried about you're height, you have a keeper. She thinks for herself and isn't worried about society's stigma over a taller woman dating a shorter woman or a short woman dating a short guy. I think it;s a great way to filter out the vain women from the genuine ones. I dont need to get laid that bad where I cry over every woman that rejects me for my height. I know that the woman that will take a shot with me will get a hell of a guy for it. That's how you should feel about it too. Napoleon was a great ruler, but he's the butt of jokes nowadays because of his height. Thats just how things are, and it goes much deeper than just relationships. I'll never say shorter men are inferior. Never. We just aren't as socially accepted as the "Tall, Dark, and Handsome" types. |

Dude, I'm 5'7, height isn't that big of a deal if your game is strong. The tall dude standing next to you, just serves to make you look more important. You're the alpha male in the group, remember that. I rip on taller dudes all the time. They never get aggressive if you do it the right way, but they still look like chumps to the girls around you. Chances are the chick is into your mate, or you're just not making enough of an impression. Worrying about your height instead of being in the moment and being alpha will probably stop you from doing that... If he's socially proofed and preselected like you say, that kind of automatically makes you socially proofed and preselected. Use that to your advantage, don't AMOG your buddy out right but maybe just a little bit to show the chick you're the guy she should be paying attention to. If you don't think your mate will take you stealing his girlie attention away too kindly, it's only one chick, go find another one. |
