1. Don't ASK for a number. TELL her you're going to exchange contact details 2. Don't exchange numbers until you actually have established at least rapport and hopefully some comfort. 3. A number is not the goal, a day2 is the goal. You should have spent time just having fun on the dancefloor. You could have probably k-closed on the dancefloor then taken her somewhere quieter and had an actual conversation. You probably could have pushed for the SNL too.
