When something happens indirectly that potentially can be a really good thing, there's no emotion if it fails... However, when you want something to happen a lot more and in most cases when it doesn't, your devestated? Shoot. |

Hmm, I'm not sure I completely understand yer question, I wouldn't say devastated but I could see it growing frustrating... if that's even what your getting at? |

When I want something alot, and I really believe that I can succeed, I might often get devastated if I fail. |

Vitamin ... From a girl perspective: When you meet a girl in a club and you never intended to e.g. if she spills her drink on you etc, and you end up kissing, laying or whatever... If that failed, no matter how hot she was, you wouldn't be bothered. However: If you see a girl and say to yourself "i want her" and you'll work towards something potentially happening, and when it doesn't, then it becomes severely frustrating and you begin to wonder how you manage to disappoint yourself so badly. I think I managed to answer my own question; Working towards something takes effort, it takes plenty of optimism and it takes your own investment. When you achieve something you feel a great sense of sucess, and when your part-way towards that goal you keep the optimism. The part where your disappointed through rejection or flaking or whatever it may be is the part I don't understand, maybe the effort is noticed and they can sense that you may be wanting something serious to develop with us un-intentionally showing the wrong signs towards them. Your investment into making something happen is the key element in the disappointment that is caused at the end of a failure. If something occurs un-intentionally, the investment is less; therefore the failure is less disappointing if it does occur. |
