| Post subject: | How to deal with a Language Barrier? |
I met an Asian girl at the a bar the other night. She's from China. We've been texting a little bit, and she just asked for my msn. However, her English is horrible. She had a hard time understanding me at the bar, and judging by her replies to some of my texts she isn't really understanding me. Perhaps, I should try to make plans and try to limit texting/messaging. -What would you guys recommend? |

Incidentally, I handled that situation only weeks ago. Although she was Thai. You definitely need to meet in person, that way you can build attraction and comfort without all that many words. Keep the convo basic, focus on BL, tone, and escalate. Also, be comfortable with silence and prepared for cultural boundaries. Example, it's apparently not acceptable in Thai culture to kiss in public. Being able to do all but FC her at the bar was a testament to my persistence. After being turned down on my first 3 attempts at the KC, I took her to the dance floor and finally got somewhere with my kino. Later she even shared the reason for her initial resistance. So, call the woman! |

Name a place and time...wait for response, done. No use in running fancy lines anyway, tell her to come meet you at some place. Doubt she has alot of friends there so she'll probably want to hang out. Then release the beast and conquer that piece of meat!

Attraction is natural and pickup is based on creating the best possible way to build attraction and do something with it. The only barrier you could have are cultural differences that don't effect natural attraction, but could effect some types of game. Most chinese girls have parents that forbid them to hook up with non-asian or even non-chinese guys, yet it only effects the logical part, but she still could be attracted to a non-asian guy. I shouldn't worry to much about that if I were you though. Just go for it. |

If you run natural game, I don't see how you can go wrong. Since you have a language barrier, negging and C&F will be at a minimum, if part of your game at all. Just make sure you show charisma, use BL, and rely on any kind of non-verbal cues. As I mentioned before, be comfortable with silence and use it to your advantage (i.e. making EC, kinoing, etc.).Canned material might work or not, I can't say since I don't use it. But I assume it would be more narrowly tailored than situational/natural game. I presume she'll have a few cultural obstacles, e.g. no kissing in public, but you can move past those with some patience and persistence. |
