Can someone please tell me what the point of raiting women is?

A lot of times when a guy is complaining he cant get the "9s and 10s" is because hes rating them and making them out to be somehow different than girls he perceives to be a 7 or 8.

Rating girls is just kinda creepy.

I haven't, seen a shit loads of 9s in my life, but I've never seen a girl I thought couldn't be improved. Even supermodels I've met have weird shit, like Megan Foxes thumbs, or Miranda Kerrs long toes, Naomi Campbell's nipples.

Everyone here is trying to better themselves, so why do we settle for less than perfect women week in week out. I'm a bit disheartened, slept with a girl last night I thought was really hot and then turned out that she had cellulite. My least favourite thing on earth.

No .... 10's don't exist. The scale is actually from 1 to 9.

Of course everyone's 10 is different. I have seen one of "my" 10s in my life.

No .... 10's don't exist. The scale is actually from 1 to 9. Something to keep in mind: ratings are entirely subjective.

Personally, I laugh at the "there are no 10s man" philosophy. If you think there are no 10s, make the scale 1-9. Or wait, then there are no 9s... If you have a scale, don't reserve the top spot for some mythical being that doesn't exist, instead assign it to the top that is out there (actually out there). I have closed some girls that I wouldn't improve on. True, maybe her thumbs were a bit weird, but I didn't notice since I was too distracted by other things... Bottom line, if you need to tell yourself that there is some mythical Aphrodite, do that. Otherwise close girls you can call 10s. Or even better, stop rating and enjoy the ride.

The only 10s I've ever seen were at clubs/stripclubs. The hottest girl that I personally know is a 8.5, once in a blue moon I see a 9 walking on the street. These are my statisctics.

I don't think this is a discussion about the rating scale. So rating scale bashers can fuck off. I don't mind the rating scale. Of course everyone's 10 is different. I have seen one of "my" 10s in my life. She looked precisely like Cheryl Cole, but a bit hotter. She was a right bitch. Hehe

The "10s" are the most subjective part of the scale, 10s are "that girl" who strikes you as extraordinary. In my humble opinion: 9= Hot, sexy, or cute (any or all) 10= Hot, sexy, or cute + LOVE... Love is that extra point; the bump from a 9 to a 10.

One man's junk is another man's treasure. I personally think the Indian girl I'm seeing SPAM is a 9 or 10. I think she's one of the only girls I know who I can just look at and think "she's actually beautiful". But before you say I'm bragging, my mates don't seem to agree. She's too innocent, she isn't a tease they say, and though no one says it I know for sure some think she isn't that hot because she's a "paki". Each to their own.

Well yeah, everyone has their concept of a perfect 10. There is no woman that would appeal to all men and vice versa... It happens some times that a friend points out a girl that is very good looking, it is his perfect ten but I just flat out said "I wouldn't do her..." Personally I'm soooo turned off by curly hair! Everyone have their own concept of what perfect beauty is and that reality applies only to them or to others that share the same viewpoint. But most of the times me and my friends agree when someone rates a woman.
