So here are some background info:
Met this girl from my dorm via mutual friends, had a quick chat the night we met and learned that we both come from the same city, different High school. I found her on facebook, friend requested her and within 5 minutes got confirmation. I'd like to think she added me fairly quick but then again I do realize that it could be mere coincidence that she was online when I added her. I first initiated contact by sending her a message on facebook after she friended me. Once I got her number, I've texted with her and now I'm looking for some direction. Anyway, here it goes. Let me know how I am doing and hints, tips, advice on how/where to proceed would be greatly appreciated. Also, after going over the chat logs, would you guys say her interest in me is present or am I just shooting in the dark now? Names have been changed. Thanks in advance.

after i got that facebook message with pretty much SPAM her number for free, I was going to text her much much later (couple days?) but via some bullshit coincidence I saw her MUCH sooner than I would have liked and for a minute it was awkward cause she might have known that I had her number and didn't text her right back. BUT I played it off like I hadn't checked my facebook and seen the message where she gave me her number. When I got home, I sent her a text for the first time saying
"Hey, I just got your message. Been fairly busy but yeh lets hear about your rush process, which house are you rushing for"
to which she replied with "oh I liked ____ and ____ but theres so much options!"
And after that text, I didn't text her back at all and I guess I disengaged? Then the next day, I started off with a joke (and completely ignored/disregarded her last text about rushing)

ME: What did sushi a say to sushi b?
HER: I dunno, what did sushi a say to sushi b???!?
ME: Wasaahh B? Ha so what ya up to?
HER: Hahahha
Nothing, ___ and my phone got "stolen" by our friends.(following texts have date/time to show how long i've been waiting to respond. Do you guys think she is playing the same game on me?)
ME: Sep 7 14:02 Hope ya guys stole it back ha or else I guess I'm texting w the wrong person ha, now u should hijack theirs and have some fun.
