Hey guys, I'm pretty new to this whole community and the advice that it gives, but having just split with a long term partner, I know have a HB number and have sent a few SMS messages. A friend of mine informs me she's a bit of an attention whore, so how do I keep it fun and interesting without playing it too cool so she gets bored? I'm fairly fine with confidence and can approach girls, but more often that not, I can never back that up with anything! |

These girls are easier to catch than others. The key here is to give her attention that she likes - then taking it away from her. Do this and she will chase after you to receive more attention, of which you rarely give her. |

I have also heard that she is a bit of a player. How do you play a player? Using the same kind of techniques? |

Keep the element of unpredictability alive. Respond within a minute or two at times, and at other times, take as long as 5 minutes. If she craves attention, you let her know that you can provide her the attention, but she gotta make her efforts for it. Don't come off too easy just because you're aware that she likes attention. She probably already gets a lot of guys to give her that, your approach has to be different. |

I have tried these things, but I can tell that she is playing me a little, she sees it as a challenge i think! I tried the suggestion in another post to vary the number of x's at the end of a message to see if she responds the same, and it worked a treat as an IOI. I was amazed by it, the first actual sign for me that this stuff works! I just need to know what to do when we finally call each other now! |

When you feel you've got it all going in your favor, that is the best time to escalate your game. Ideally in your situation I'd leave in the middle of a convo which is going good, saying "Hey I gotta bla bla bla. I'll talk to you soon". (No use of sorry, mind you). And then when it's time for me to come back, which is after a considerable amount of time when I leave her wondering what the heck I've been up to, I'll call her instead of texting her. |
