| Post subject: | cock blocked by a mate? |
i ran into a girl hb10 that I've known as an Acquaintance on FB for about the past 6 years never really ever talked. we had a good time and she was throwing IOI's, she told me that she deletes people she dosent talk to on FB from her friends list. i got a good laugh because i had made it so long w/o being deleted. anyways i got her phone number and we parted ways. one of my "mates" that hadn't met her before called me up and i told him how i ran into this chick and told him the story about the deleting of the friends. so he decided to try and leverage his friendship with me and the fact that he knew this story to become her FB friend. do u guys think this is a blatant cock block since she is a very private person, and if so what would be the best way to handle it? i haven't had to deal with something like this before |

He is just trying to compete with you to see if he will be chosen over you? I d say if he is a true friend he wouldn't do that. I would say tell him that and if continues to be an a hole then part ways with him and find a better friend. |

Facebook means almost nothing. If we were to believe everything said on Facebook then I would have multiple female friends who were in open relationships with other women (a trend for roommates and best friends I've seen). So what if he's FB friends with her, so what if you are? I graduated from college with a degree in Economics, and I have started applying a lot of economic theory as I build up my own skills in various aspects of life, including women. Competition is always good, because it drives us to be better. Even if your friend is trying to compete with you, that just means you have to improve your game. And in online scenarios, improvement always requires interacting with the girl in person. How long you've been FB friends is meaningless if you two are never in the same room. So step up and do something to try to get this girl rather than posting on her wall or commenting on a picture. And honestly, if this girl is private like you say, she isn't going to do anything with a guy that just makes a friend request because you mentioned her name. Any reasonably intelligent woman will see that as just being creepy for a guy she's never met to suddenly do that. Don't worry so much about it, just go for the win. |

well a girl added me on fb and tried to get me to go out with her, then my best mate added her on fb and started talking. it doesnt bother me because shes not good looking, has a child and is black (i dont mean that to be racist but i dont date black girls its just my preference). what annoys me is that they started off by talking about me! |
