hey bro. i was in the exact same situation and its pretty easy. if you already have some rapport built up, good. but if not, its just like *closing a stranger. but here it is:
1: proximity. be near her group and make a funny comment to open the group.
2: social proof. give her hottest friend all the attention in the world. kino alot but dont be creepy.
3: when she speaks, tell her you're gonna kick her ass.
(when i did this, i had my arm around steph's hottest friend who started laughing and we shared a moment)
4: get her to return the neg and respond with a pattern breaker like "STOP" or "WAIT" and then say "have you ever walked out a bathroom in nothing but tube socks on stilts holding a bald penguin smoking a cigar?"
5: this will shift her frame and make you look like a bit of a smart ass. and when she responds, it'll probably be with a "what" or "huh" and you respond with "oh i thought we were talking about something that would never happen".
6: then shift whatever kino you are using with her friend to your target and start having your sparkling personality shine through.
7: escalate kino and k-close. throw in some false take-aways if you feel like it but it isnt really necessary if you are confident enough.

hi my name is shortround and im as you guessed short but not really short 5'4 im still young and at the age of 18 still havent really made out with a girl but tommorow night a girl ive had a really big crush on is going to be at a party im attending. Now its not so much i want to hook up with her but for her to know im truly there and to find interest in me. Im sort of a social guy all i need is to know how to interact and for what to say I pretty much need help from seeing her to getting to talk to her one on one. all i know so far is im going to use higher value at some point thanks pua's shortround

I know this may have worked for you, but it sounds like terribly bad advice. :/
