| Post subject: | How jealousy affects your attractiveness |
I played out a jealousy plotline between two girls last night. We'll call them HB Blonde and HB Brunette. While I was talking to the one girl, the other one was constantly looking over at us. What makes this interesting is that the previous week, HB Blonde was very closed off with me and acted nonchalantly. Now as soon as I talk to another girl and she sees that this girl is interested in me, she reacts. Now I know this has to do with the whole concept of social proof, but I think it has even more to do with the fact that they are kinda friends. By that I mean they aren't in the same social group, but they speak to each other occasionally. They were actually sitting at the same table. I ran into HB Blonde earlier and had already said hello and spoken to her. I saw HB Brunette sitting at the table with HB Blonde, her friend, and a bunch of other randoms. HB Brunette smiled at me, left the table and came to say hello. While we were talking, HB Blonde's friend looked over at us then mentioned something to HB Blonde. She looked over and they discussed something. She kept looking over while I was talking to her. The friend then called over HB Brunette and said something to her, before she came back to me. Apparently she said to her, "There are a lot of guys here tonight, don't just spend all your time on one!" or something along those lines... Now you're probably wondering what I'm getting at with this. Well, I'm way more into HB Blonde than HB Brunette, and this is probably the biggest reaction I've recieved from HB Blonde. So I was just wondering if someone could help me with the interpretation of this? Also, why does jealousy influence a person's attractiveness so much? |

Women want men who other women are interested in, this isn't true for men that's why it's harder for us to understand fully. It shows her that you're pre-selected, a challenge, and that she needs to work to keep your attention. |

Its just pre-selection at work. But pre-selection is only one attraction switch amongst several others and although blondie is now more attracted to you, don't read too much into it besides that. Keep working her on other areas. |
