Post subject:  Discouraged in Hermosa Beach
I've been studying PUA stuff for about 6 months. I'm a good looking guy, in great shape, tall, great sense of style, and outgoing in general.

I got into PUA because like most, I was a very shy and insecure growing up. I did everything I thought would get women, job, money, education, style, personality, lifestyle, gym, etc. I'm lucky enough to have had a lot of women in my life, but mostly 5-8's, and more random than not. I want to be good with 9's and 10's and pull consistently.

I went out tonight in Hermosa Beach, CA and I have all this great material in mind, but ended up just standing in the isle smiling at women who are walking by and trying to talk with them and grab them if they smile back.

I know it's just an excuse, but there wasn't very many good looking women there when I arrived and when it started to get packed, you couldn’t hear anything over the music.

My problem is my ego. In my mind, OK women should be glad that I'm talking to them and then I tried to break the ice with a few but nothing. The worst of it is I tried to get into the zone by talking with a couple of HB6's and they blew me out, I got pissed as I feel that I'm a couple of steps higher than they are and it's wicked discouraging.

Then the music got really loud, I got really agitated and left and made another excuse about a work night.

I could use some guidance and help of any kind.

And yet there is no difference between a 9/10 and a 56/7/8 besides their looks. Thinking you need different game for hotter girls is not going to do you any favors really. You be way better off adjusting your game to the girl instead of their looks. A girl's looks has really no coloration to who they are as a person. Remember girls are people to and should be treated as such.

Instead of waiting for them to send you an invite, approach them even if they don't smile back at you.

At least you acknowledge your ego is bit of a problem of yours. The thing is what are you going to do about it? As not many girls will find your ego all that attractive.
