| Post subject: | Mixed signals |
First of all I'm not quite sure which section to post this in so sorry if I chose the wrong one. Anyway, I met this girl on the internet. 21 years old, 7-8 looks wise, fun to be with and probably the most easy to talk to girl I've met. We went on two dates, then I had to go away one week, come back for three days and then go away one week again. We both texted each other the first week, but then she couldn't meet me any of the three days I was back. I figured maybe she is busy and three days isn't that much, so I went away another week. I texted her once and she texted back and seemed generally upbeat as usual. So, when I came back I called her and asked when we could meet again? She said she was busy this weekend and that she had to concentrate on work. Of course it's not easy for me to analyze a phone conversation with a person I don't know that well yet and even harder for you who didn't hear the entire conversation but my gut feeling said she didn't want to meet me. What's your suggestion for course of action? I've chosen to wait and see for now (we haven't spoken since wednesday), but I don't want this girl to get away without even knowing why. I'm thinking about calling her sometime next week? Good idea? What should I say then? |
