But a few days ago I asked her out, I brutally fucked up because I was really nervous, although when talking to her im pretty layed back, this made me really nervous. She told me she was doing something with friends that day so we couldn't do anything together. She said to my friend that it wouldn't work out anyway, and that here are many guys like me out there.

So my question is, why does she say stuff like that although I get big IOI's from her, and I''m giving her IOI''s, and what can I do to be more unique than other guys in her eyes. My guess is that I have to build more comfort and get to know her better or something like that but I would like a professional opinion on this.
