| Post subject: | How to handle girl with a boyfriend situation...... |
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum but am not new to the game. Although I'd say I'm still very much a novice I have been studying the game for a while now. I'm after some advice on a situation I've encountered and the best way to resolve it without seeming afc. I'm a teacher. 3 weeks ago a student came to work at our school. She was 20, hot and we got on really well. I generated attraction quite quickly with her by using cocky/funny and obviously my status was a turn on, as she wants to become a teacher herself. I asked her if she fancied going out one night. She was quite flustered and babbled something about being busy and so I just said fair enough catch you later. An hour later she text me asking if the option was still there so we went out for a couple of cheeky drinks, bit of close dancing on the dancefloor etc - all the time trying to escalate. I thought I was nailed onto a winner when she mentioned she had a boyfriend, of over 2 years. She'd never mentioned or hinted at him before. Suddenly I became a little uncomfortable about things and so backed off and took her home without trying any further. She was only with us for a week but every other day after that she text me, telling me she was missing me and just general convo. She then unexpectedly rang school to ask if she could come back for another week to help. She's been with us again this week, being really flirtatious and many other people have commented on how she clearly has the hots for me. The boyfriend hasn't been mentioned but is still very much part of her life as I can tell from a quick facebook stalk! Now she's certainly not a bitch or a woman who would lead you along in a nasty way but I'm unsure what to do. She's clearly keen but whilst she's got a bf I don't feel able to try and escalate. Our term finishes on Friday and she'll return home (which is an hour from me) - but I'm sure the texting and flirting will continue. How do I get a result one way or the other without coming across afc? I'm trying to make sure oneitis doesn't creep in here, and I will be going out on Saturday night for a sarge. I'm very fussy though and this girl ticks many of my boxes, some of which not many other girls have. Need a bit of closure on this and would be very grateful of some constructive advice that I could put into practice over the next two days/evenings. Cheers, Gaz |
