So I used to work with this girl, she always kinda showed intrest, but I never showed any back, so I now, a year later, I saw this status on her facebook
(Also keep in mind that I live in New Jersey)

8 dayss and im ouuuuttttttttaaaa herrrrreee :) ♥
So there I commented:

Me: I love you too! where you goin???
Her: californiaaaaaaa♥
Me: you adventurer :P I've always wanted to go, how long you gonna be there

Well two things come to mind. "youre not even goign to miss me? " comes off as needy, and you let her end the interaction first.

Next time you see her on you might try to open with "hey dork, moved to california yet?"
and then maybe ask her to meet you for "goodbye coffee"

I didn't have to read the conversation to tell that she controlled it. That's because it looked something like this.

YOU: blah blah i'm interested and need an excuse to talk to you blah blah blah
HER: yah
YOU: let me keep this conversation going by saying other stuff
HER: haha
YOU: here's an insult, hopefully you'll want to keep talking to me
HER: lmao :)
YOU: I'm needy blah blah blah miss me miss me miss me miss me
HER: yah
YOU: don't let this conversation end!!!
HER: bye

See the pattern? Without even reading the words said, I already know that she already knows she owns you. Keep it at a 2:1 ratio. For every two words she says to you, you say one.

And never be the one to speak last!
