It's advised that you say to a girl that you're still friends with your ex and you guys get along. The thing is, what if she also decides to remain friends with her ex, isn't that a bit harmful, because once you have sex with a girl, it's always easy to get back with her, and they were gf and bf...Should I worry about this or not?

If you really are still friends with your ex, yes it is better in the short and long run to be honest about it but dont make it up because she's still friends with hers. I wouldnt over analyze every interaction in your mind because if you really wanted to believe it, you could make yourself believe their off somewhere fucking each others brains out even though it's not really happening. Alot of good guys let their minds wander and insecurities about it take over.

If she does start getting close with her ex again, let her know how it makes you feel about your relationship with her and leave it at that. If she wants to be with her ex again, she'll only get more underhanded about it the more you push the envelope. Just be honest and let her know how it makes you feel. The rest is up to her. If she continues to talk and things progress, you're better off. If she actually listens and takes it easy with him you have a quality woman.

In the end it's all about what she wants to do. You being an a great PUA will only help since you can fill her place at the drop of a dime. All about self-respect and realizing your powerless in this situation. Just be yourself and for the relationships sake hope she does whats best for it.

whats wrong with girls staying friends with their exs?

I know that most of my girlfriends I would have liked to stay friends with since they were pretty cool people, so why wouldn't I let a friendship exist?

very rarely can guys and girls be "just friends" after having sexual history. one partner generally wants to stoke the fire again.

I mean like you know when you read advice about picking a girl up you should say: "I'm still good friends with my ex". The thing is why should you say that, if you don't want her to be good friends with her ex, because she can say: "oh well, you're still friends with your ex.."

Ok, first of all, you dont own her.

You have absolutely no right to decide who she is friends with. Trying is a sure way to remove her from your life.

She wants to be friends with her ex. Awesome! Maybe you two can be friends too.

Do you truly really believe that old crap about men and women not being able to be just friends if they have a sexual past? Come on.

Just so that everybody with insecurities will have something to read. This shit is important.

You cannot EVER be safe. I understand that you havent got very many girls around you and that you are afraid to lose the one you have got. I mean, that much is obvious. But come on, how can you ever be safe?
You gotta trust her. Do you think that her being friends with her ex does anything to the probability that she is gonna cheat on you? If she feels like cheating she can just go grocery shopping and smile at random guy. She is a girl!

The only way to be sure is to lock her up and do you want that kind of relationship? NO!

She is with you now right? So she has decided to try you out. It is her right to dump you if she wants to. It is her right to cheat on you if she wants to. It is her right to run off with her ex if you cannot attract her. She has all the rights in the world to do WHATEVER she wants to. As i said, she is not your property! And there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING you can do about it. Deal with it! Be a man!

The only thing you can do is make sure that you are the best choice.

So man up, stop asking how you can control or manage your gf. You arent supposed to. A relationship is a mutual agreement to share something special between 2 (or more) people. You set the rules together. Both of you are allowed to break the rules if you are prepared to take the consequeces. You choose to be together every day, if she wakes up one day and decides not to, tough luck, deal with it. It is her decision.
Start asking yourself instead. How can I make the relationship work with this girl. What are my needs and what are her needs, how can we work this out together.

Sorry to give you some tough love man but I think that more people than you needed to hear this. I am a pickup artist, a player and a real bastard but I do respect women exactly as much as I respect men. Everybody owns themselves and I get furious when I see people trying to limit their partners, men and women alike. Why cant people just understand that a relationship doesnt make you one unit. It is two people choosing to walk the path of life side by side.
You should both try to help the other grow stronger instead of limiting each other. THAT is what makes relationships grow!

nice job Ezo!

I saw this thread yesterday and was going to post something like "who gives a fuck whether she's friends with him or not?" and decided not to because I felt like it wouldn't be all that beneficial to anyone to do that. You did a MUCH better job than I ever could have explaining it, and it definitely needed to be said.
