Post subject:  I Felt Awkward Not Opening Her...

Today I was at the bank, sitting in the waiting area, while I waited for my appointment. While I was waiting this decent looking girl (HB7ish) walked into the bank and sat down next to me (the only empty chair). Lately, Ive been getting alot more comfortable talking to people during the day, so I was considering opening her. However, this girl wasnt really my type and I just wasn't feeling it to be honest.

But while sitting there I noticed her check me out, and I thought of a great situational opener. Yet I still didnt feel like opening and I felt really awkward because of that. I was just sitting there, I know I could've easily opened. I felt like she wanted me to open, but I didnt. As a result you could cut the nervous tension with a knife lol.

So moving forward, should I still open the sets/ targets even if Im not totally feeling it? Sounds like sort've a stupid question because I already forsee the posts of "open anyways for practice". But I just wanted to through this post out there because for the first time in my PUA journey I've felt more awkward that didnt open as opposed to not opening due to the fear of rejection.

It's situations like that were you can practice. Just think, you were in a bank you could've talked to her quietly. People wouldn't have known what you guys were talking about.. As you said (she was checking you out). Also with you not being that interested in her that's the best time to practice you don't have anything to lose.
