| Post subject: | How can I overcome 'Invitation Phobia'? |
I don't know why it is so challenging for me to invite more than two girls(even guys) to have dinner I cook. Strangely, there's no problem to invite a girl. In my head, I have some negative thinking like 'I'm a host, but I have no idea how to entertain guests..They will be disappointed with me then everything will go wrong.' something like this.. What's wrong with me? |

you lack confidence. have a look at a few "how to be a good hostess" books from the 50's (because sexual equality killed off that sort of book  )the hosts job isn't to "entertain". the hosts job is to keep conversation flowing in case it drops off, but each guest is to contribute! |
