(This is kind of a big rant fyi) Anyone one you would consider a brother. One you may have known for years. Just a best friend.. That when it comes to going out or doing anything social, doing anything unique at all.. Turns it all down?? I can see yes with a lot of people, and somehow I can see where a road like this could split friendships.. But I have too say right now, that I can never stop being this guys friend. He is pretty much family(talked to him almost every day for over a decade now).. But things are changing as we get a little older. I'm starting to see signs where we are not as similiar as once were.. being in my early twenties, they are basically being wasted away.. My closest friend denies going out to the bars with me, denies being my wingman with always the excuse that he has important things to take care of. He has that personallity of wanting to suffer.. I told him this one time, that he strives on suffering.. I am the opposite, I am all about being "Comfortable" and he loves to whine about every misfortune.. I don't have other close friends like this man. What really sucks is we used to create such a reality together. Everyone was pulled in all through middle school and high school. Everyone knew who we were. When we were together, we dominated.. Yes it was like that. There was attraction from everywhere.. Now that we are a little older he has completely fallin off the radar and is fine with that!! He does not care about meeting new people, or creating any kind of social attraction! That is a huge thing for women!!! he just doesn't give a fuck because it's all about his movie collections and games and spending his money on bs and then going back too work. Wtf does one do in this situation.. I will be honest I have never attempted to go to the bar by myself.. I could always make a couple calls, and I could text someone I know who would be there that night, a girl specificly for social value.. But I would feel very naked without a wingman. |
