I still hang out with my ex once in a while, kind of a weird situation, we fight all the time over little bullshit but make up the next day. Not trying to keep this woman at all for anything more than fun... Which I'm trying to get to that point, but I get little bullshit issues. I take her out to my parties, she's got to know a lot of my friends that she didn't have a chance to before, it looks like she fancies one of them, guy is cool I don't have any animosity toward him, not a close friend but more of a chill acquaintance and that's probably why he doesn't have much reserves about going for it, and I don't feel like tooling on him or outright AMOGing, but trying to DHV over this guy is fucking tough. It wouldn't be annoying if there were hotter chicks at these venues, but my ex is usually one of the hotter ones in the room... To the point where I don't feel like gaming these other girls, its like settling for less. I know, someone is probably going to say "oneitis", but I really don't see it that way. I've #closed girls since we broke up, I could have f-closed but some tool "friend" cockblocked me. The point is, my ego can get to me, and if I don't want any other girl in the room, my ex is the first choice but I don't know how to rebuild attraction without making it seem like "I'm not over her" or something like that. In fact, rebuilding attraction in this situation is probably my main goal. I'm good with building attraction with other girls, but with an ex it definitely feels different. And then you add in the "other guy" into the equation, shit just gets complicated. What can I do immediately to rebuild attraction in a solid way, and what can I do in-field to get that interest back? Enough interest to hop in bed, not to start a family. As a note, I'm not against going direct, but I don't think its a good strategy in this situation. I'm a natural gamer, but I feel like I can't just repeat or remix what I did the first time to get in, I really have to employ some stealthy shit to get into her head, I just don't know what works. If anyone has any experience with this, drop some knowledge and I will definitely try it and report the results for others out there.
