Hey everyone, kinda new to this site and just wanted some help/opinions from the people that know their stuff. Anyways, let me explain the situation and hopefully you folks can gimme some ideas in what to do (hopefully...): Right, so at work we've just recruited a bunch of new employees about 2 weeks ago in which we work for a company within retail. I've been there for about 2 years myself personally. Now one of the new employees is a stunner to be honest and that I've only spoken to her 3 times (different shifts etc) Now the first 2 times was kinda like more work oriented in which I'm in charge of training the new people to feel comfortable in where they are working, and just showing them the ropes, but there something about her which seems different. The last time we spoke was on a photography training course which I conducted so it was the case of taking her away from the shopfloor for 30-45mins and just making sure she would feel comfortable using/selling the professional camera. We got chatting, have a lot of interests (music, films, photography etc) and she generally has a bubbly personality which I was laughing, and she was laughing at what I had to say. Then she goes on to say to me that she's been a bit down recently because she's recently broken up with her ex-boyfriend in which she wasn't too sure if it was the right decision. I just basically expressed that 'as long as your happy, isn't that all that matters?'... in which she agreed with. Anyways I did speak to her last night over facebook and she seemed over him now as she explained that she's heard his been talking to over women etc and she's more comfortable. I've even joked on the fact that where I'm going to a music festival in august in that she would like to join me haha! And this is where you guys come in? I like her, but I'm just not sure exactly what the best way to go about this will be. Do I invite her to join me in a quick drink after work or ask her for her number etc? Thanks, any comments/support will be highly appriciated! |

This girl ive been chatting about on this site is also from work. we hired her in August I had to be her buddy i.e. her mentor. We got on like a house on fire - flirting, tension, intrigue - the fucking works. Then we went out for drinks etc and people started talking at work. So I blew her off. about two months we didnt talk and she was invisible to me. Then a couple of months ago we went out for drinks again and stuff and flirting continued. she said she liked me i liked her but she had a boyfriend who cheats on her and she basically fucks other guys. Based on my experiences I would suggest you go for drinks and escalate from there. I made the mistake of not escalating when the tension and excitement was at its peak. And now i feel i lost out go for drinks flirt have fun |

1. Call up one of your friends and make plans to go out for a drink. 2. Let her know your plans and invite her along. If things do not go right, you can always ditch her and hang with your friend. 3. Exchange numbers, say 'here is my number just in case we decide to go somewhere else'. 4. When she shows up, be cool. Do not fill her head with compliments or crawl up her ass. Let her know that you plan on having a fun night with or without her there. Most importantly, do not become her 'emotional tampon'. Don't get sucked into conversation about her X-boyfriend or some other crap she wants to whine about. |
