| Post subject: | Winging a friend |
I'm used to doing things solo, and recently I've started making approaches with a friend of mine who's about equal in terms of skill and control. We end up either AMOGing each other or one of us will have complete control while the other will have about zero. How can I become a really supportive wing, and what can we do to help each other in the field? |

What I do when winging is that I make my self beta on purpose, and therfore make him even more alfa. Than he should do the same, depending on whose set it is. If someone gets stucked or something goes wrong you get him out of that easy. Depends on what you do. Hope it helps, that's what I basicly do when sarging with some one else. |

I always end up taking over the set... Not intentionally but I go in and DHV my wing and he pulls out. No good. Make sure that your wing is in fact on your level. I would for once like to have a wing who is strong enough to keep up with me and thus increasing my value as well. Being with an alpha male who treats you like an equal makes your value go up. |

Open the set FOR HIM. tell them about how you have this really cool friend and list attributes of him. Then he comes to you and says hey what's up man. Then you say that this was the guy you were talking about. He needs to take over the conversation and you need to let him do it. This comes from the pick-up artist on VH1 |

Interesting advice. Two alphas in cahoots is a good thought, and I'll have to see how we can maintain that balance. About the introduction bit, that works. I wish we could figure a way to make it less of a system and more natural. We'll see how this plays out. Thanks all! |

That's the thing. It's NOT natural. You both want all the girls you can get. So you both need to agree over this before doing it. For instance, my friend has this girl in school that he really likes and wants an LTR with. She's a 9 and I would definitely fuck her, but will I? No. He's my friend and wing. He's my partner and we have a mutual respect. So when I talk to this girl I don't game her. I try to make my wing look good in the most natural way that I can. I don't just randomly say good stuff about him because then she would know I'm trying to set them up. We work together and things work out. There's also a great routine that you need a wingman for. Neil strauss writes about it in "the rules of the game" in his routines section. You don't have to buy the book, just pick it up and read the routine. It's entitled "the amazing table psychic" check it out. |

Now you have misunderstood the concept of alpha. The most overlooked and important part of the alpha male is that you have choices. You dont need girls especially the ones you are just talking to. The alpha male can spare one girl for his friend. This is the mindset. Nowadays I just open sets without having a target. I will see if there is something interesting in them once I am done talking to them. If there isnt, well next. |
