| Post subject: | Confidence Issue. LISP?! |
Ok. So I'm going to keep this pretty short and sweet. I've been intrested in learning to become a PUA for about 2 months now. Confidence is really my issue. I can act confident but inside I'm really bricking it. The main thing I'm worried about is the fact I have a lisp and my voice is not 'sexy' at all. Will girls react badly to a lisp and be turned off by it..Will it get in the way? Is there anyway I can turn it into an advantage or am I going to have a harder time becoming a PUA? Thanks for reading my post. Much appreciated. |

The day you will feel confident about your are attractive lisp or not you will be confident for true and really attractive for a girl. |

So what your saying is that the sooner I am confident about my lisp and release the worries that I have about it the sooner girls will find me attractive because of the confidence about it not being an issue. I see. Thankyou. I hadn't thought of it like that at all. |

Just out of curiosity, can't you fix it? Isn't it just where you place your tongue when pronouncing anything "s"-like? |

Thankyou for your post. It's very possible for me to fix it I suppose. I've never been told exactly why I have a lisp. (Whether it's a mental thing or whether it's something to do with my teeth, size of my tongue etc.) I suppose one day I could try speech therapy to see if it works. Thanks once again. ~Patchy |

Get speech therapy or some shit, get it fixed, become pro-active. |

I'm going to give that a shot thanks. Do you believe that it will get in the way then? Or do you think that it'll give me a boost in self-confidence if I get it fixed? I'd like to know ~Patchy |

I think it'd absolutely go away and you'd absolutely get more confidence from it. |

Truth is,He won't get confidence from it. Just an elevated sense of self-worth when talking to people, which is good only if....... I'll get to that later. He'd still be scared shitless doing things he's scared shitless of doing now with a lisp. Confidence comes from within. To become confidence you have nothing to add (a voice without a lisp/sleeping with countless of women), you only have to remove your fears and doubts. Having a lisp IS treatable and it will take some weight of your shoulder IF it doesn't get replaced with other limiting beliefs |
