My roommates friend moved into a room in my house about three weeks ago. I didn't know him very well before and I don't think he liked me a whole lot. But he moved in and we started getting along a little. He told me he knew about "the game' one time when he was talking to some chick he had over (hb5, fyi) and so I offered him to read some other books. So him and my roommate chill out a lot and it kinda makes me feel left out. Its not too bad but it effects me. Its kind of "the two team" and then the other stragglers. They're sometimes rude to me and make jokes. I usually brush it off but I don't know why its always me. Literally telling me to shut up or calling me a retard (though that wasn't either of my roommates, it was one of the new roommates friends.) Tonight they both went to a party. For the first time I heard them call each other "wingman" and they were giving each other signals. We were all sitting in the living room with the guy that lives above us, and new roommate specifically invites the guy upstairs to the party but not me. Theres just an overall slight disrespect. I want these guys to be my friends but I need to learn how to disengage them. |

They're both my friend or 'buddy' I feel in a lot of realms in my life I'm disrespected, but I'm smart and I know its just whatever. Every relationship has a junior and a senior. I'm the type of person that doesn't mind being a junior, but a secure junior, a strong junior. In pick-up terms its alpha by being beta. You make what you say count but you don't talk a lot. Anyway, theres just disrespect, its mild and maybe jokingly done, but theres a root cause. Maybe I think these guys are my friends but the actuality of it is they don't really like me. Maybe I'm just taking a joke too seriously. I'll just freeze em out and talk to them in a bit = P It'll be fine. |
