I am planning to buy a pink shirt because for some crazy reason I saw some people with pink shirt and I liked it. My question: is it gay to wear pink or is it a good peacock item ? Anyone any experience with wearing pink shirts ?

You are violating The Bro Code if you wear pink. Get some colorful beads instead, and make sure they are all the same color except one. You will find that girls will always want that ONE

only wear pink if it works with you, which means, find a gay guy and do a 'queer eye for a straight guy'

I think that if you're comfortable wearing pink (or a feather boa, or a studded leather jacked) AND if it's congruent with your personality, you shouldn't give a shit what anyone else thinks.

I don't know if it's different where you live, but here it's no big deal if a guy wears pink, it's just another colour, so I wouldn't really say it is a form of peacocking.

Where I go out I have never seen anyone wearing a pink shirt. So for me it would be definitely peacocking. I appreciate all your replies. Thanks to all of you.

Im living in one of the famous fashion capitals of the world and more and more guys here wear pink.

It is not gay. Seriously, its a freakin color, how can that be gay.

Worrying about being gay is gay. Apart from that, if you are secure in your sexuality you could wear a rainbow shirt saying GAY across your chest and still not feel gay.

Wear what you feel like wearing, if you feel good it will look good. If you feel uncomfortable wearing something, dont wear it.

Above all, dont let anybody keep you from wearing what you like, especially not people you never met who might think that it looks gay...

EZO took the words out of my mouth!!!!

Pink is like saying that u r not like the regular AMOG that believes if u were pink then u like taking it up the ass.

It shows women that u r in touch with fashion(which earns u some points in her eyes).

But it is not peacocking, wear it with another color that also seems "gay" get a light purple tie and just put it on a pink polo shirt.

Definitely not gay to own a pink shirt. I have a bubblegum pink shirt that I wear out. I like that it also forces me to be very quickly comfortable with my self (because the only other option is to feel, and thus become, wildly awkward). You stand out instantly wearing a shirt like that and you WILL get comments. I think it's great for peacocking. You won't always get friendly comments, but you will get people opening conversations for you. If a guy says something sarcastic you instantly have the opportunity to AMOG him, comment to the ladies in the group, and begin a routine. If a girl says something, whether sarcastic or complementary, well, you've just received your IOI.

Of course, you should probably have supplementals, as TatooToast suggested. I've always opted for a necklace with a strange symbol on it.

I guess it all comes down to if you will feel secure when wearing it.

Thats how trends are born or broken. If a loser wears pink people will say, hey that guy is wearing pink, hes probably gay. If a cool guy wears pink people will say, hey apparently straight people can wear pink too.

Like, a guy with makeup and lipstick is gay right? Unless he is a rockstar... Then hes cool.

Think about that. Its not about the shirt, it is about you.

OK guys, those were some awesome comments. Thank you very much. I will definitely buy the shirt and wear it.
