Post subject:  Need some practical advice when it comes to smalltalk
Now, I know this will only come naturally with practice (and I do need a lot of practice), but does any PUA have advice on what to say (or how to formulate a response) when girls talk about stupid shit just for the sake of talking about stupid shit?

For example, I was talking to this girl while walking down a flight of stairs. And she's telling me that her high heels are making her feel that she's about to fall and that she's a total klutz etc. I was like "oh really? haha that's funny" Now, this is just a particular example but I'm just trying to be more engaged and fun in a retarded conversation like that and I can't really figure out how.

In a sense, I'm just not sure how "personal" I can get with my responses (since I'm obviously not like this with my close friends), so I just keep at max distance.

In that situation I'd probably say something like, "You'd better hope I don't decide to give you a push then, hey!" Playfully, of course, and then I'd give her a *slight* push but hold her at the same time. An easy bit of kino there and you're showing her that you're a fun guy!

Yeah, in retrospect I can come up with a million ways I could have had a better response, but it's just tough (for me) to be right on the spot, which is weird because I'm naturally a very jovial and witty guy.

I can totally feel that man, I think a lot of us are like that or at least have been at one stage! It just improves with practice I think, best thing to do is REFLECT on what you did and what you could have done, and that will all build up in your mind and start coming out more naturally. Chances are you have the ability to come up with heaps of awesome and fun stuff, it's just a bit hard when you're not completely comfortable yet.

Yeah I suppose it's just practice :P In my opinion it's the difference between a girl that's neutral about seeing you again (oh he's a nice and cute guy) and a girl that's excited about seeing you again (omg he's funny and I like him).

Oh well, practice practice here I come!

we all know girls are fantastic about talking bout things guys an "relate to" or just dont give fucks about. solution to this problem? GIVE FUCKS

i know it can be hard, but the real solution is when you can truely care bout what they say and get a better response to them. instead of "haha funny" or whatever just say "damn it sucks being a women then! complaining all the time about just stuff in general. psh high heels cant be all that bad anyways!" speak what you really think, but at least think about what she is saying so you can make a good connection with the girl. blowing it off can sometimes help you (sorta a neg i guess) but when you can relate and talk to a girl and speak your mind, she will speak her mind back to you and you will have a way better connection/friendship/sex

just concider trying to be more creative and caring about what she is actually saying, it can be hard but the results are worth it at times
