i apologize if theres a more specific section this could be in. ok, so many of you probably saw my "does she like me?" thread. i got some great feedback and no one made me feel like an asshole, so im hoping to maintain a presence here, at least until i can get in good with someone. that isnt to say im going to be making a ton of threads. im mostly going to be reading. but i have one more. / intro, on to my 2nd thread. thres another chick at the mall, she works at the cosmetics counter at macys. shes hot hot hot, but shes much older, prolly around 40. but hot. anyway ive been throwing looks her way for over a year now, and she knows it, but never spoke to her until recently. the other day i go to set up a macys display in a vacant space. same as usual, but i was surprised to find her and this other comprably aged hot chick there in the space, basically doing my job, rather tahn just dropping off display materials. so, the one i want is a redhead, the other one is blonde. the blonde one was being super nice... she was like "whats your name, where do you live" and i gladly answered. the other one didnt say much, but she didnt seem to hate me. btw, there was ONE interaction with this chick, many months ago, and i must have caught her in a bad mood bc she was kinda rude. it wasnt personal, i was just handing out a memo, and rather than going down to macy's office as usual, i went to her and asked her to pass it on. she was like "can i help you" kinda rude but i was real sweet and then out of there quick. anyway, about a week after the first scenario i described, she comes walking by. of course i start staring her down and smiling, and i go"hey gorgeous" and she actually talked to me, she said "how are you" i used a pretty standard line(for me anyway) by saying "good now" and she kinda laughed and kept walking. fast forward to today. im running around all day working on various things and i turn the corner and see her approaching me from the far end of the hall. i try to play it cool, when we're finally close i stop her. me- "you know, i hope i didnt embarass you the other day when you were walking by( i apologized bc there were other ppl around during that exchange) her= "you dont embarass me" (smiled) me- " well sorry anyway. you just have that affect on me." (maintaining eye contact) her= "well you dont embarss me" me- "okay" so we both kinda akwardly walked away, but it wasnt super akward. not for me anyway. i said one more thing as she was leaving, something like have a nice night, idk. anyway. shes proabably married, but what if she isnt? do any of you have experience with older chicks like this? i was serously considering going back thru macys and stopping in, giving her my number or something, but i was doing alot of physical shit today and just wasnt presentable. but i think the next move is definitely to catch her during a slow period at work(im always cutting thry macy's so it wouldnt be like going out of the way) and trying to lay some kind of 'game' down. but i dunno. im really not worried about the rejection in this case, so i guess theres nothing to lose. but i just dont know. one final note. ive seen her eating in the food court many times. always alone. sometimes talking(or pretending to talk) on the phone. this could suggest a commitment on her part, but she seems like kind of a loner. ive never seen her with a guy, not that that means anything? thoughts? criticisms? suggestions? |

You kind of answered this yourself. What do you have to lose? Drop by, chat her up a bit, then say well hey I gotta run but we should hang out sometime.Can I get your number? if she declines just say well if you change your mind, heres mine. Give it to her. Nothing complicated at all. Show your interests, you said youve been staring this girl down for a year? It's time to make some kind of move. Goodluck man, let us know how everything turns out. |
