So I met this girl through eHarmony, we had a first date and seemed to hit it off. The day after she emails me, just says she had a good time.... and we've been emailing back and forth 1-2 times a day since then. Unfortunately she was busy this weekend, and all next week... we talked on the phone for over an hour though when I called to try and make plans and she's excited to see me once her schedule clears up. She's even mentioned plans a couple weeks out already, so pretty sure I'm in good shape. I'm a little worried that her interest will wane if we're just conversing over email for a week though. Or that I may accidentally end up in the friend zone... So any tips on keeping her interest up? Should I try to keep the email going, or drop it for a day or two so she wonders why I'm not replying? |

Dude, I've met dozens of women online and some very hot - and they are the really frustrating ones. See my post "losing attraction after the second date". The fact she emailed you after the date is a great IOI, but in my experience there is still a way to go. Have been in this position myself and have gone quiet on them, giving them the gift of missing me, and that can spark attraction big time. If she's hot, every other guy will have been texting 10 times a day, and I'm sure you know you need to be different and get her doubting herself. If she doesn't get in touch, I may be tempted to move on to the next. If she does, I would go with the intention of closing the deal (as she seems to be messing around a little). And if you get a second date and it goes well, don't make the mistake I made which was holding back a little on the game at that stage - stay aloof would be my advice. Give the impression that you have a full life aside from her. |
