Hey all, I was reading, and looking for material to work with..
Now im busy with the mystery book..
And came across the social blue print dvds of tylar..

Only, Tylar says you should not work with routines.

And mystery says, you should..

Whats your opinion, would you study both materials?

You should work with what suits you the best. I don't work that much with routines.. Develop your own style in the end.

You don't need routines. Period. They're just a tool, that's all. If you have zero idea of what to talk about or you aren't comfortable just making normal conversation and going from there, they'd be a good starting point. It's all about what you're comfortable and happy doing. If you can approach a girl and make conversation though, you can skip the routines.

I think routines are great for starters. Usually starters don't really know what to say because of lack of experience. In that case a routine can at least help you to have a conversation. It is better for a starter to have a routine than to just say "Hi" and then not knowing anymore what to say. Once you have the social skillset the best is to not use a routine because you can get caught.

As said above - use routines to gain the confidence of approaching and escalting a little. Afterwards try to go more natural and make up your own routines! certainly more fun.
