How do you guys interpret this? I was talking to HB's friend and she told me that HB told her that all the flirting me and HB did in the period of time that we were talking as more than friends were just a "joke" ... and that I should stop going for HB I find it hard to believe because it was obviuos HB wasnt "fake" flirting with me at all... Dont want to go into details but I'm 100% sure she liked me before (example: first time our eyes met, I didnt look off till she did => meaning she was attracted from the beginning)... I think I failed to close the deal by asking her out or transitioning to the "comfort" stage... I'm not a one-itis, but I just want to know what you guys think it means when her friend brings up your name ("How's Mr.Hottie" to HB) and she says that all the flirting that we had was just for "jokes" ... Is it because she lost attraction for me? Important point?: -> I talk to alot of girls in like flirty ways (and I talk to them infront of her friends) so maybe she thinks that I was the one that stopped liking her first, therefore causing her to stop liking me Answers anyone!?? Would be appreciated! And maybe some advice on how to patch up the situation? Thanks |

Do you trust her friend? She could just be doing her job as an obstacle. |

A lot of girls flirt purely for fun and self-esteem to keep a guy "hooked". Sometimes it's very hard to find out, whether it's real deal or not, as girls fake this really well. |

Do NOT: 1. Take driving directions from a woman. 2. Take pick up advice from a woman. 3. Listen to what she has to say about who loves who and who hates who and who only likes who and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah . . . |

Well you can actually tell this through her non-verbal comm, kino compliance, etc.Sometimes it's very hard to find out, whether it's real deal or not, as girls fake this really well. What she tells you she thinks is not important as the above. |

Thanks I appreciate all the comments/feedbacks you guys gave! Good advice I must say! Anyone have anything else to add? *Update* Recently... I was sitting down on a bench with my friend talking to one of HB's friend... As I'm talking to her, HB waves her hand at me though I ignore it and wait like a few seconds before I turn to her ... She looks at me and holds eye contact and I do to but I look away to her friends before she has the opportunity to look away ... She talks random stuff and at one time she says to me "Are you mad at me? Why are you avoiding eye contact?" .. i didnt say aynthing, I just turned to my friend beside me (not HB's friend) and just laughed ... And she laughed too lol (This was the day after her other friend told me the "news" lol) Confused as hell |

I think the discussion about her friend doing the job as an obstacle might be really valid. If her friend doesn't like you she would easily say those things. Or if her friend wants you for herself, she would say those things (ie trying to sabotage you & HB). HB herself has not given you any indicators of disinterest, has she? Dont obsess over the eye contact thing, I think that's over analyzing. Personally I would keep on going though... assume its on at all times. When you ignored her wave, she ran right over to you. Typically if you ignore a girl that isn't interested in you she isn't going to run over and ask if you if you are mad at her, UNLESS you have been friends for a long time. In that case it is appropriate for her to ask that question but not be attracted, cause its weird for long term friends to ignore each other. Is this someone you met recently? If so, her asking if you are mad is definitely a big IOI in my mind... at the very least it puts you in the higher value position. And laughing it off was the right move, so good work with that. |
