Post subject:  Have I been excluded by my 'community'?

Recently, I read about Mystery's theory on exclusion within a group; a kind of filtering system with its roots in tribal communities we're adapted for, supposedly the source of man's AA. At the moment, I am undergoing my last year at college until university. Last year and all the years before that, I was a socially repressed omega male. However, I rapidly worked on 'inner game' (this is before I knew about PUA, so it was more to do with realising I needed to change) and became witty, funny, confident, cocky etc.

This isn't arrogance, so take my word for it. Despite this, I still feel rejected by the other kids in my school. It's as if old habit die hard; whilst they invite all their long-term friends to parties and social gatherings, I don't get a whimper, and there's no bullshit when I say I'm popular.

The main problem is that this instantly nullifies any social value I can gain. I cannot bullshit them with DHVs, I presume they know I have no life outside of school. They swarm together like flies, as if they're a close-knit Amish community.

If I had a choice, and I don't, I would GTFO this entire area and start again in a place where the people don't mingle exclusively in a manner that's borderline incestuous. Maybe they have excluded me, and, for now, I'll have to remain alienated. But I can wait, I have university soon  .

Sounds like my situation in highschool a couple years ago. The groups of people in the parties I would go to would all interact with each other, I would go to these parties as a beta male/ AFC and act in a manner where they didn't take me seriously. Now recently I went to a reunion type party and people took me as the same person, even though I have spent a whole year on this inner game change and have changed for it in a positive manner. I couldn't care less anymore because I realize its not my fault, but their fault of having this old image of me and im not going to waste my time breaking that old image, because these are just highschool people i knew, nothing more.
